WE OFFER THE MOST EXTENSIVE PAYMENT OPTIONS

 

Paying for your flight is easier with Mango, because we offer the widest select of payment options.

 

Gone are the days of cheque books and wallets overflowing with cash. As Mango is committed to ensure that air travel is more convenient for our Guests it doesn’t matter if you don’t own a credit card, because we accept any of the following payment options:

CREDIT CARDS

 

Mango Guests can use any of the following credit cards to pay for their flight bookings:

 

  • Visa
  • Master
  • Diners Club
  • American Express.

 

At check-in it is required that all Guests provide proof of identification in order to receive their boarding pass. Guests may use their valid ID, driver’s licence or passport as proof of identification. Guests who booked and paid for their flights using a credit card will need to present this card at check-in. If the Guest paid for a group or family using the credit card, only the paying Guest need present the card.  In the case of children a birth certificate is considered as valid identification.

 

EDCON THANK U ACCOUNT CARD


Edcon Thank U Account Card holders have so much more to look forward to, and spend on, because Edcon Group has partnered with Mango Airlines. We are the only airline globally to accept store charge cards in lieu of booking payments. Guests can pay for their flights using their Edcon Thank U Account Card, but a service fee will be charged to the card.

 

This option affords Edcon account holders the opportunity to access air travel in repayment instalments without attracting interest if the booking is paid for in six months.

 

Please note: This method of payment is not available to Guests booking a flight that departs in two (2) days.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: EDGARS CUSTOMERS PAYMENT VIA EDCON THANK YOU ACCOUNT CARD

 

Mango Guests who have recently been issued with a new Edgars account card may experience difficulties when purchasing Mango flights. If you are battling to process a transaction your card may need to be re-linked electronically.

FNB—CELL PAY POINT

 

How can I, as a Mango customer, use Cell Pay Point?
FNB account holders who are registered for cell phone banking with MTN and Vodacom can use Cell Pay Point to book and pay for their Mango flights. 

 

If you fit the above criteria and would like to register for Cell Pay Point, either of the following registration channels will do:

 

  • Register at any FNB ATM—registration takes about 60 seconds
  • Call 0861 313 210 to register
  • Register at any FNB branch.

 

FNB customers registered for online banking can follow these easy steps to register for Cell Pay Point:

 

  1. Login to the FNB website
  2. Select services
  3. Select cell phone banking
  4. Proceed to register and follow the instructions.

MANGO VOUCHERS

 

The Mango voucher is another way we are making air travel that much simpler. Guests in possession of a Mango voucher can use it as a form of payment towards any Mango flight booking.

 

Guests with Nedbank Greenbacks vouchers and AMEX membership rewards vouchers must first redeem these vouchers— through their banks—for Mango vouchers, before they can pay for their flight.

 

Please note: A Mango voucher can only be used to pay for a Mango flight, and it only covers the base fare of your booking. Any airport taxes and extras are not covered by the voucher.

 

NEDBANK GREENBACKS VOUCHERS

 

Mango Airlines has partnered with Nedbank to provide alternative ways and means to pay for Mango flights. Guests can now redeem their Nedbank Greenbacks, at their local branch, for a Mango voucher, which they can then use towards covering the costs of the base fare.

 

Simply visit www.nedbankgreenbacks.co.za  or call 011 710 4710 for more information on how to redeem your Nedbank Greenbacks.

 

Please note: If the total cost of the booked flight—excluding airport taxes and extras—is more than the value of the voucher, Guests can still use the voucher to book the flight. The difference will then need to be covered by credit card. If the value of the voucher exceeds the total cost of the booked flight—excluding airport taxes and extras—Mango will provide a new voucher, amounting to the difference, to the Guest.

 

AMEX MEMBERSHIP REWARDS VOUCHERS

 

Mango Airlines has partnered with AMEX to provide alternative ways and means to pay for Mango flights. Guests can now redeem their membership rewards through AMEX for a Mango voucher.

 

Simply visit www.americanexpress.co.za or membership rewards, alternatively Guests can call 0860 555 002 or 011 710 4098 for more information on how to redeem your membership rewards.

 

Please note: If the total cost of the booked flight—excluding airport taxes and extras—is more than the value of the voucher, Guests can still use the voucher to book the flight. The difference will then need to be covered by credit card. If the value of the voucher exceeds the total cost of the booked flight—excluding airport taxes and extras—Mango will provide a new voucher, amounting to the difference, to the Guest.

 

SHOPRITE, CHECKERS AND CHECKERS HYPER MONEY MARKET KIOSK PAYMENT

 

Mango Guests can pay for their flight booking at any Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper Money Market kiosk. Because of this option Mango now has a retail presence at over 500 outlets, the first low-cost airline to do so. Remember that this form of payment is unavailable to Guests if the departure date of the Mango flight that they wish to book is within three (3) days.

 

Mango Airlines requires that payment of all Guest bookings be made within 48 hours of creating the booking. If Mango does not receive payment within 48 hours after the flight booking has been made, it is automatically cancelled. Guests will then need to then rebook the flight.

 

Please note: When booking and paying for a Mango flight at any Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper Money Market kiosk, a service fee will be added per seat allocated. This service fee is not included in the total cost of the flight; it is an addition that Guests must cover when payment for the booking is made.

 

PAY BY INTERNET BANKING—SID

 

SID is an instant electronic funds transfer (EFT) service that allows Guests to pay Mango Airlines directly using their existing Internet banking facility.

 

The benefits of using SID are:

 

  • Payment is immediate
  • Mango Airlines is notified as soon as payment has occurred
  • SID eliminates the need for a credit card.

Credit Cards

Mango accepts Visa, Master, Diners Club and American Express cards.

Please Note: At check-in, the Guest must present both the credit card and valid ID / Drivers Licence or Passport used to make the booking.  Valid form of ID for a child is a birth certificate.

Edgars/Jet Account Payments

IMPORTANT NOTICE: PAYMENT VIA EDGARS CARDS

If you have been issued with a new Edgars account card recently, and you have difficulty processing your transaction when purchasing Mango flights, your card may require to be re-linked electronically. Kindly contact Edgars 0860 112 442

Guests can also pay for their flights using their Edgars card/Jet Cards but a service fee will apply.

This payment option cannot be used if the date of departure is within two (2) days of booking

FNB - Cell Pay Point

What do I need as a customer to use Cell Pay Point?

You must be an FNB account holder and be registered for Cell phone Banking with any of the networks (MTN, Vodacom, Cell C or Virgin Mobile).   

Registration is quick, easy and free of charge. You have a choice of the following registration channels:

  • Go to any FNB ATM (it will take around 60 seconds)
  • Call 0861 313 210
  • Go to any FNB branch

If you are an registered FNB Online Banking customer you can register online now.  To register online: 

  • Select 'Services'
  • Select 'Cell phone Banking'
  • Proceed to register and follow the instructions

Vouchers

If you are in possesion of a Mango voucher you can use it as form of payment towards any Mango booking.
