Dear Guests

Mango notes the announcement by the President on Sunday 27 June 2021 to move the country to adjusted alert level 4 restrictions from Monday 28 June 2021 for two weeks.

Requirements for travel in and out of Gauteng during adjusted alert level 4 restrictions are as follows:

  • Because of the burden of infections in Gauteng, travel in and out of the province for leisure purposes will be prohibited. This does not include work, business or commercial travel, transit through airports or for the transport of goods.
  • If you are currently not in your place of residence, you will be allowed to return home to or from Gauteng.
  • Reasons for travel will be asked at check-in and/or boarding for any flights to and from Gauteng.
  • Business travellers need to present an official letter on company letterhead stating that the purpose of travel is business related as well as Form 7 (Permit to travel to perform a service).
  • Other permitted travel such as; travel for Funeral (a form and a Funeral Affidavit), Children care/movement, Moving house & Student travel need to present an official form (see attached forms applicable) stating the purpose of travel.
  • Should you not be able to travel during this period, please send your voucher queries to: and/or our call centre number on 086 100 1234. Voucher issued is valid for 12 months.

Please note that all type of travel to and from other Provinces is permitted. Review the government gazette on these restrictions as per 27 June 2021 here.

Furthermore, flights impacted by the curfew will be adjusted to lessen the impact on passengers and all affected passengers will be informed via SMS, Email or Call Centre and accommodated accordingly. Passengers leaving for or arriving at their destination during curfew hours will be required to produce valid boarding passes as proof of flight or a copy of their airline ticket.

Please visit and all our digital platforms to view our schedule accordingly.

Practice COVID19 safety and hygiene protocols and we look forward to flying you again in the near future.
