FRAGILE, VALUABLE AND PERISHABLE ARTICLES
It is not recommended to check in fragile, valuable or perishable articles due to the nature of baggage handling. Any fragile, valuable or perishable articles, such as but not limited to perfume, any household articles, paintings/art, musical instruments, wine or alcohol, fresh produce or flowers, any electronic devices, documents and monies are accepted under limited liability. Mango accepts no liability for loss or damages of any kind to fragile, valuable or perishable articles.
Please ensure that these items are securely packaged or carried on your person, providing they meet the carry-on baggage limitations.
Perishable goods should be packaged in a leak proof container.
MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
Mango accepts musical instruments under limited liability. Mango accepts no liability for loss or damages of any kind related to musical instruments. Such items may only be taken on board the aircraft if they conform to carry on baggage specifications, and will then form part of your carry-on baggage allowance. Any items not complying with carry-on baggage specifications must be checked in.
Such items are included in your checked baggage allowance. Excess baggage charges will be raised per kilogram or part thereof for baggage exceeding the checked baggage allowance.
No single item may weigh more than 32kg, or exceed one and a half (1.5) metres in width or two (2) metres in height/length.
DRY ICE
Dry ice is limited to 2.5kg per Guest as carry-on baggage only, providing they meet the carry-on baggage limitations. Packaging must permit the release of carbon dioxide gas. Dry ice is regarded as prohibited items as checked baggage and may NOT be checked in.
In the event that such articles are in a box or container, it may only be sealed once the check in agent has inspected the box as per regulation.
