Every summer, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden becomes abuzz with music as the annual event rolls around. The concerts see a series of top local and international musicians perform outdoors under a glorious sunset (and later in the evening, a sprinkle of stars).
The concerts take place every Sunday from mid-November to April, and is a high-end calendar event, so don’t miss out!

What to know
The best way to enjoy the concerts is to arrive prepared. Wear comfortable clothes as you’ll be sitting on the lawn and always bring a jersey in case the evening air turns chilly. Don’t forget to bring a picnic basket filled with snacks, drinks and a picnic blanket to sit on. You can also pre-order picnic baskets through Moyo Restaurant.
If you’re highly equipped, you can also bring camping chairs to sit on for softer seating. Just remember that you may be asked to sit at the sides or at the back so that you don’t block the view of someone behind you.
Although the concert lawns are spacious, it is recommended that you arrive early so that you can grab a good seating patch, even more so if you are part of a bigger group.

If your favourite artist happens to be on the line-up this year, don’t delay in buying your tickets in advance. If tickets are still available, you will also be able to buy them at the main entry gate on the night
