Does Mango accept unaccompanied minors?

Mango does not cater for the carriage of any unaccompanied minors. All Guests younger than 12 MUST be accompanied by a Guest who is at least 16 years old.

Are fares reduced for children?

There are no reduced fares for children. Guests over the age of 2 years pay full fares

How old does a child have to be in order to fly?

Unaccompanied Minor

An unaccompanied minor is a child older than 2 years but who has not reached the age of 12 years, not travelling with an adult. Mango does not cater for the carriage of any unaccompanied minors. Please note that all Guests younger than 12 MUST be accompanied by a Guest who is at least 16 years old.

Young Persons

A young person is a Guest older than 12 who has not reached his/her 16th birthday and may travel alone and unaccompanied.

Infants

An Infant is a Guest who has not reached his or her second birthday.

Special infant restraints are available on all Mango aircraft upon request.

Infants under the age of 2 only pay the applicable administrative fees provided they sit on an adult's lap. Each adult may only have one infant on his/her lap, with a total of ONE infant only on each seat set of three situated on either side of the aisle, thus resulting in no more than four people seated on any seat set of three seats.

Adult fares apply to children over 2 years of age.

Infants younger than 7 days from date of birth may NOT travel on Mango flights.
Infants younger than 14 days from their date of birth will require medical clearance before acceptance for travel.
